PGLDN HOLDS TURNOVER CEREMONY OF LNPH CANTEEN

To meet the demands and requests of the patients and employees of LNPH, a blessing and turnover ceremony was conducted last September 24, 2021, for the newly constructed canteen of Lanao Norte Provincial Hospital. The construction of the canteen is because of the initiative of Governor Imelda 'Angging' Quibranza-Dimaporo with the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. For the first part of the activity, Rev. Father Nazer Montalban led the blessing of the building and offered prayers for the success of the opening of the canteen.

On behalf of Governor Angging, PGLDN's Provincial Administrator, Ms. Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo, personally attended and led the program. She conveyed to the attendees the importance of implementing the project for Governor Angging.

"This project is just one of the infrastructures that the PGLDN is holding as an exchange to your active service for our common goal to alleviate the lives of the people, especially in our fight against this pandemic," Ms. Sittie Aminah said.

Governor Angging has put a lot of effort into the success of this project because many years have passed; it is only now that the hospital will have its canteen. As the end-user of this project, Dr. Shoraynah Tucal, the LNPH Chief of Hospital, expresses her heartfelt appreciation to the PGLDN, especially to Governor Angging, for the constant support given them.

"From the beginning, the PGLDN, through Governor Angging, has not stopped providing financial support to our hospital. Apart from this spacious canteen entrusted to us, Gov. Angging has also provided us with modern machines, such as digital x-rays and ultrasound, and even further developed our area to make it more conducive for the clients and us ", Dr. Tucal added.

The project comes from the 20% Development Fund which, not only aims to provide safe and clean food for the employees and people it also aims to protect everyone from accidents. With the construction of this canteen, it will not be difficult for every patient and employee to seek food outside the hospital premises.

Governor Angging recognizes the importance of the role of hospitals at this time; thus, PGLDN is merely focused on establishing various long-term development and recovery programs for this new norm. As she congratulates the management of LNPH, Vice Governor Maria Christina Atay hopes that they may use this facility properly, maintain the order of the place, and take good care of it.  She then assures the staff of LNPH of the continued support of PGLDN as they continuously offer efficient and quality public service to all people of Lanao del Norte.
