Lanao del Norte Bong Go supporters join Nationwide Simultaneous Caravan
Hundreds of supporters from the province of Lanao del Norte joined the Nationwide Simultaneous Caravan on Saturday, November 6, 2021, to show support for the candidacy of Senator Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go as Vice President for the 2022 elections.
Wearing red and blue, more than 100 vehicles, including bikers, joined the said parade, which traveled from Sultan Naga Dimaporo to the Municipality of Linamon, which started at 8:00 AM.
The multitude of supporters was led by Ms. Sittie Aminah Quibranza-Dimaporo, candidate for 2nd District Representative on the 2022 elections, and her sister, former Congresswoman. Fatima Aliah Quibranza Dimaporo.
All mayors under the ruling party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan, also joined the gathering but ensured that all the standard health protocols were observed.
"We, the Team Quibranza-Dimaporo, give our full support to Senator Bong Go's bid in the Vice Presidency. We've seen him in action, his programs that greatly helped the Filipino people, especially Nunungan, and we want him to continue the legacy of our President Rodrigo Roa Duterte," Nunungan Mayor Marcos Mamay said.
Individuals who were not able to join the parade were also seen going outside their houses and waving green flags as the fleet of vehicles passed by.
