𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗗𝗡 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭

Tubod, Lanao del Norte - The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte recently conducted a Hospital Management Committee Meeting with some personnel of PhilHealth Iligan at MCC Rianas, Tubod last December 7, 2021. 

Governor Imelda 'Angging' Quibranza Dimaporo personally joined the meeting together with Ms. Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo. In her message, Governor Dimaporo thanked all the Chief of Hospitals (COH) including Dr. Marujetta Isabel Opamen, for their significant role in handling  COVID 19 situation and health care management in every hospital in the province. 

"Although the COVID 19 cases in our province were on a downward trend, we need to still be ready and vigilant especially that the holiday season is approaching and there is this another virus discovered", Governor Dimaporo lauded. 

The main agenda of the meeting involves the presentation of the Hospital Finance Performance for 2020-2021 along with some updates on the province COVID 19 Laboratory.

According to the presentation, the income of the provincial hospitals decreased for the year 2021. Last 2020 we have recorder Php 163.89 M as our total income while only Php 127.46 M was on record still as of October 31st. One considered factor is the decrease also of PhilHealth reimbursements and Medical Assistance Program (MAP) this year. On the other hand, the status concerning the province Covid Lab remains stable where there are still enough test kits available. From January to November 2021, the laboratory has recorded and catered 15,565 specimens. 

Ms. Christine Mae Magno, the Chief of Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) PhilHealth Iligan - LDN, discussed the updates of PhilHealth in Lanao del Norte. " We need to make sure that all Filipinos in Lanao del Norte will be a member of PhilHealth for them to be covered", she said. 

Ms. Magno also presented to the committee the future platforms and membership campaigns of PhilHealth to widen their scope and so that many people can benefit. She also urges the health facilities to enlist in Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama Package (KonSulTa) program. It is a comprehensive primary care benefit that provides easy access to essential and comprehensive outpatient benefits. 

Ms. Magno also announced that PhilHealth has its website (Member Portal) wherein members can directly access their records, download their Member Data Record, and check their contributions. 

Meanwhile, Provincial Governor Dimaporo encouraged all the COH to proactively raise their concerns regarding their PhilHealth contributions. 

The meeting also served as the venue to personally hand over to Governor Dimaporo the plaque of recognition given to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte as champion recognizing its vital role in the Universal Health Care mandate. PIO-LDN
