TOP COP OF PRO 10 ATTENDS MINDANAO WEEK OF PEACE 2021 IN CAMP BILAL, BRGY TAMPARAN, MUNAI, LANAO DEL NORTE

PBGEN BENJAMIN CASUGA ACORDA JR, RD, PRO 10 and Party together PCOL ISAIAS A BACURNAY JR., Provincial Director, Staff Officers of LDN PPO and COL REY B ALEMANIA, 2nd Mechanized Brigade Commander represented by LTC JOSEPH MARLON C FAMOSO, GSC (CAV) PA conducted courtesy visit with Hon. Racma P. Andamama, Municipal Mayor of Munai, Lanao del Norte. Further, PBGEN BENJAMIN CASUGA ACORDA JR, RD, PRO 10 and Party proceeded to MILF Camp at Camp Bilal, Brgy.Tamparan, Munai, Lanao del Norte to attend the KAKHUKALIMOAY (Compassion Towards Reconciliation) in celebration of the Mindanao Week of Peace 2021 with the theme “Compassion and Justice, Resilience and Healing for All”.  The said activity was jointly initiated by the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces-North Western Mindanao Front (NWMF) Command headed by Hon. Abdullah G. Macapaar, Member Parliament-BARMM, Front Commander-NWMF in partnership with the Pakigdait Incorporated and United Religions Initiative headed by Mr. Musa Mohamad Sanguila, Regional Coordinator, URI- SEAPa. Also present during the activity were Hon. Rommel C. Armado, Municipal Mayor of Kauswagan, Mr. Abelardo A. Moya, Director-PAKIGDAIT Inc., PCOL WILBUR M SALAGUSTE, CD, ICPO, PLT ALLAIN B CLAMONTE, COP of Munai MPS and other MILF Base Commander. Highlights of the activity were giving of Message of Peace and Solidarity of High Ranking Officials. The main objective of the activity is to facilitate confidence building measures and strengthen relationships among the MILF Commanders, Security Sector, Local Government Units, and other peace actors and stakeholders for an inclusive, unified and peaceful Camp Bilal.
